I recently returned from two weeks as a Visiting Artist at RedLine Milwaukee.  I am so impressed with what is going on there.

There is an Artist-In-Residence program for emerging and mentoring artists, it's an extremely exciting re-think of educating artists with very vital work being made.  There is printmaking, painting, sculpture, video, ceramics, papermaking, bookmaking and more.  There is extensive outreach both on and off site to a broad community.
There are three floors (22,000 sq ft!) including artist studios, a gallery, printmaking and papermaking studios, dye lab, photo facilities and kiln.  And RedLine is a green facility too!

On top of this, I don't think I have ever met such a generous group of artists.
Thank you RedLine for inviting me.

If you are in Milwaukee, GO VISIT.  If you can't visit, look at the website, it will give you at least a taste of what is going on.
